Three-act ballet extravaganza is based on Charles Perrault’s fairy tale of the same name. As people say, devil is in the details and it seems that in this ballet they are all thought out down to the smallest minutiae. From the general atmosphere of the French court of King Louis XIV to the enchanting music and exquisite classical choreography.
The ballet is full of a variety of dances, variations of soloists, sensual duets and spectacular scenes with the participation of the corps de ballet. A special pleasure is given by the amazing, colorful dances of the fairies: The Lilac fairy and fairies of Tenderness, Liveliness, Generosity, Courage and Serenity, who, according to the story line, endow the newborn girl with their gifts.
